Writers Find More Success With A Coach.
Let This Be The Year You Achieve Your Dreams!
The proven coaching system that helps aspiring novelists build their habits, master the storytelling fundamentals, and finally finish the book that’s been living in their head.
Trusted by over 50+ writers who have finished their novels, scripts, and graphic novels with me.
If you’re struggling to write, you’re not alone.
97% of people who start writing fiction never complete their first draft.
Don’t be one of them.
If you’ve abandoned more first chapters than you can count, get overwhelmed every time you sit down to write the incredible story in your head, or feel like you need to ask someone what happens next in your own story, you’re exactly who I work with.
I’m Austin Ardor — a professional fiction writing coach who spent years mastering the craft of storytelling.
I got my start in the writing industry as a pro worldbuilder helping authors develop their worlds.
I’ve helped countless writers go from scattered ideas to finished books. I meet writers exactly where they are and get them to where they need to go.
Why Authors Trust Austin Ardor:
What You Get:
-
You’ll have your choice of meeting once a week or once every two weeks.
In each session, we’ll dive into every detail about your story and your own skill development. From worldbuilding to writing habits to descriptions to building confidence, I’ll help you master everything you need to write the books you’ve always dreamed of authoring. -
We’ll create a roadmap breaking down every element of your goals into actionable steps, and I’ll walk that path side by side with you like an Olympic trainer bringing their athlete up to Game Day.
You will have lifetime access to this online roadmap long, which means you can replicate the process to repeat your success for every novel you write.
-
I’ve been in the writing industry for 8+ years, and during that time I’ve stacked up a lot of resources.
If you need to create fantasy maps, create names, discover scene structure tips. find beta readers, or anything else, I have a master list of everything I’ve come across that can help you.
I’ll regularly deliver these resources as pre-packaged milestones throughout your coaching journey. This will give you the exact tools you need as you need them with none of the fluff to distract you. Think of me as the scrub tech handing you, the surgeon, the tools to get the job done.
-
In my career, I’ve crossed paths with numerous other professionals aiming to help authors succeed.
I’ve reached out to a few of these old project partners and secured deals to offer you discounted rates on editing, character art, and more.
Your success, done your way.

FAQ
-
I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I’m balancing somewhere between 10-15 projects at any time, so my progress is slow and steady.
A lot of my creative bandwidth is dedicated to my clients, so the cost of being able to help other writers is not maximizing my own career. The next best thing to being an Olympian is being an Olympic Coach, and the next best thing to being King Arthur is being a Merlin. -
On Writing by Stephen King is great until you’re an Architect/Planner and not a Gardener/Pantser. A Reddit post is helpful until there’s no further instructions on how to actually apply the techniques to your own story, and your comment gets ignored.
Think about someone who went to college for creative writing, has been working in creative writing for a decade, and can apply all of that knowledge tailored & personalized to you, your writing style, your career, your projects, and so on. That guy is on retainer to answer your questions and spend hours with you going deep on your most complex problems. You get to your goals much faster and easier.
-
Nope! The three phases are planned as training arcs to ensure your skills are up to snuff. If you’ve been writing for 3-5 years and already have a finished manuscript, it’s more helpful for you to start in Phase 2 or Phase 3.
-
Re-book it, no penalties.
I work on a retainer contract - think of it like a monthly subscription to your friendly neighborhood writing coach that guarantees a minimum number of sessions. They’re yours to cancel, re-arrange, or reschedule.
For example, if you have bi-weekly sessions with me, you’ll have 2 per month. Maybe things get busy at work, and you miss the first 2.5 weeks of the month. You could choose to book the sessions in the last week of the month back-to-back, or carry them over to the following month for 4 sessions.
-
Yes, they are one-on-one private sessions. I also offer group discounts if you and a few friends wanted to do a round circle with me as well.
I have experience working with sensitive materials and pre-release content as well, so I am available to sign NDAs
-
Quite a few! Currently, 1 in 4 of the writers I work with end up publishing their first novel within 6 months.
Purely due to the nature of the work and being under NDA for the high-profile names, I’m not able to disclose much information. -
I only take on 35 clients within a 3-month period. This means each new applicant is evaluated and scheduled for the upcoming period.
This allows me to be more selective with the work I take on, transition each client successfully from phase to phase, and ensure I can deliver the results I’m promising you.
Because there are only 35 slots per 3 month period, the best way to ensure your spot is to apply sooner rather than later - applications are evaluated in a first-come first-serve basis. The best way to get me to help with your work is to put it in front of me
-
$35 USD per hour. This rate is per session, so bi-weekly sessions would be $70/month and weekly sessions would be $140 per month, billed through PayPal.
This price includes the customized roadmap, writing resources, and partnership opportunities mentioned above.
Extra work, such as ghostwriting or editing services, will be discussed and billed as a separate service, and are not included in coaching.
